Baby to Daycare Mama Lost...NOT!

YES! ITS A DIRTY DIAPER

So two days ago, my son went for his first day in daycare. When we entered the daycare, he gave me a raised eye brow and then just took to this bosomy lady without a care in the world. Actually he was trying to get the best of both world. He was in the arms of this lady, pressed against her ample breast while smiling at his mommy and daddy.

I would have been devastated but for the fact that I was on the verge of a flu...a flu he had last week which caused him to miss he "planned" first day of daycare. I drove him to his planned first day and right in the parking lot he coughs out black stuff. For those you know "chee mah wu"...well, he coughed out "chee mah wu" and needless to say that was NOT his first day of daycare. So home we went and he did it again just out the otherside. It was either blood from a exploded milk blister on my breast or he caught a virus. It was confirmed by the poo. The picture above is actually the second diaper. The first one can only be termed " alien poo". Green slimy and speckled with "chee mah wu" and cottage cheese from breast milk. Mothers, cameras are a wonderful thing. In the past you might have to take that diaper to the doctor but now a picture tells it all....tho my doctor insisted that my reference to alien poo was enough for a diagnosis. So, it was a bit of both. Chee Mah Wu was due to my blood. Apparently blood and baby stomach acid makes "chee mah wu" and green alien slime are side effect of virus aka diarrhea

So, while I was expecting to be missing my son terribly at day care, I didnt because of the prior false start and being so sick that all I wanted to do was sleep. I wonder how much the need to sleep was because of the flu and how much had to do with have no more then 3-4 hour sleep at a stretch for the last 3 months?

My conclusion in all of this is...GOD loves me =) . He makes me sick to distract me the heartache of sending baby to daycare. Awww thanks!
